000 FORGOT about the professional!

111 The social life of an undergraduate at =Cornell University mainly
111 consists of a large percentage of the =pop, of the student
111 population, =um, =uh sororities and fraternities. And, =um, most
111 of their social life is, =um, parties and getting together with
111 other sororities and fraternities. So a lot of it, a lot of the
111 social life revolves around these sororities and fraternities.
111 And these big parties, =um, take up a good part of the weekends,
111 And, =um, it's a good way to get to meet a lot of people. And =um
111 mostly freshman year is when you go to a lot of the big parties. And
111 sophomore year, when you're into fraternities and the sororities,
111 and you go to the big parties that these, =um, that, that are put on
111 by these fraternities and sororities. =Um, bars are another aspect
111 of social life. =Uh, people go into =Collegetown and go into the
111 bars there or they go downtown, and usually with groups of friends
111 or with one or two friends. And, =um, bars attract a lot of people,
111 especially on the weekend. =Um, sometimes if the boy or girl has a
111 boyfriend or a girlfriend, that usually takes up most of their
111 social life, and those with boyfriends or girlfriends are usually
111 =um, just usually do things together. And it's not as much big
111 party-going, =um, group and =uh, there's not much dating at
111 =Cornell. =Um, mostly it's you'll, you meet someone and eventually
111 this person becomes your boyfriend or your girlfriend. There's
111 not a lot of dating different men or dating different women, and
111 =uh, it's not a very dating atmosphere. =Um, the most would be to
111 go down to a bar and have a drink. =Um, its usually the big parties
111 are too big for anyone to really have a date there. =Um, social
111 life can be kind of stressful for the undergrad, and can be =um,
111 just as stressful for the graduate student too, I think. =Um, since
111 there's not a lot of =g, there are not a lot of, =uh, =um, there,
111 there are not a lot of, you know, there's not a lot of dating going
111 on and there's not a, a dating atmosphere. =Um, usually what most
111 people do is just go to the bars and the big parties and be with
111 their group of friends. And, =um, it's very rare, you know, that
111 people date. Also, =um, the, as I said before, the fraternities
111 and the sororities take up a lot of =g time. You make a lot of
111 friends in each, in =um your sorority or your fraternity, and
111 usually you're restricted to these big parties that your sorority
111 or fraternity puts on, and that becomes most of your social
111 life. =Um, you tend to become close, closest friends with those who
111 are in your sorority or fraternity. Sometimes your social life,
111 =um, you lose sometimes. You're not as close with friends as you
111 were before who are not in your fraternity or sorority and so you
111 might lose a few friends but you will still have those you
111 just made and =uh.
